I live in Chicago and prefer to work in the city as well - kind of why I moved here. In addition, I'm a highly efficient and well-disciplined remote worker so taking on projects where my condo is home base is no problem. I have 5 computers, 4 monitors, 2 tablets, redundant storage and high-speed Internet in my designated office - and if a conference call needs to happen, I'm very accessible with no barking dogs or kids to interrupt.
